Established in 2018, Best Step Coatings is a locally-owned and operated business. Since starting out as an epoxy floor coating company, we’ve completed countless flooring projects and expanded our services to include polyaspartic and urethane floors, as well as concrete overlays.

Gary Herbert

Owner/Operator

Gary launched Best Step Coatings after working in the floor coatings industry for over 15 years.

When traditional flooring and bare concrete won’t cut it, Gary has the technical knowledge to assess problems and project requirements and recommend a long-lasting solution for his clients.

Jim Kendrick

Lead Install Technician

Jim joined Best Step Coatings in 2019. With a professional background spanning multiple industries, including leadership roles and construction management, his natural attention to detail is essential to every installation from start to finish.
